However, IC is thinner and smaller with WSOP packing. The dimensions of IC are12mm x 17mm x 0.7mm by WSOP packing, which is 42% of usual ICs. So far, WSOP is treated as the main packing method in the near future.
Q4.What is the difference between a CF card and a Micro Drive?
Micro Drive is a memory card with built-in mini hard disk whereas CF card is a memory card with built-in Flash memory. Since the dimensions of the CF card and the Micro Driveare the same, both cards can be used on similar devices.
Q5.How much memory capacity is recommended?
It depends on the desired quality of the data or the conditions that the card is used for. For example, a 128MB memory card is able to have 85 high-quality photos (5 MEGA pixels), which is quite enough for most users. However, when the memory card is used during a trip, 512MB or higher may be needed. Therefore, users can choose the card according to their needs.
Q6.Where can I find information about the reading and writing speed of memory cards?
Please refer to the detailed description of each memory card.
Q7.How can I get the information onto the memory card if I am using a Notebook?
Generally speaking, users can use an additional card reader or a PCMCIA Adapter for reading information in the memory cards.

2. The memory card is suddenly taken out when the DSC is reading or writing data.
3. Photos are taken when the battery low.
4. The memory card is passed through an X ray.
5. The memory is close to a magnetic device.
6. The memory card is suddenly taken out when the card reader is reading or writing data onto the card.
Generally speaking, if users do not use the memory properly, problems might come up. If a problem occurs without any of these improper usage reasons, please contact A-DATA service department for help

Q14.I have a 512MB Flash disk, but how come I can only see 498MB capacity usable at the most?
Windows systems use the binary system; therefore, 1MB = 1024KB. The Flash memory disk is decimal system based, which means 1MB = 1000KB. In other words, we have to check the capacity from byte numbers instead of MB number.
Q15.What is the R/W speed of the RB1?
R/W=10MB/8MB
Q16.Can I use the Flash disk to create a virtual disk?
Unfortunately, no Flash memory disks can support this function yet.

Q18.Why do I always get a “Memory Shortage” message when I paste files onto the Flash memory disk even when the total capacity of files do not exceed the capacity of the Flash memory disk?
This problem exists when the Flash memory is formatted by FAT16 format. With FAT16 format, users who try to copy and paste more that 255 files at one time may receive an error message. When this situation comes up, users can format the Flash disk with the FAT32 format to avoid this problem.
Q19.What is the difference between USB 1.0, USB 1.1, and USB 2.0?
